Water Heater Flushing

Over time, sediment and minerals can build up at the bottom of the tank. This insulates the water, making it harder for the heater to transfer heat efficiently. Flushing removes this buildup, allowing your water heater to heat water faster and with less energy.

Maintaining Tank Functionality: Solid waste buildup can clog the tank sensors and drainage valves. This can make it difficult to gauge how full your tanks are and can lead to overflows. Regular cleaning helps to prevent clogs and ensure the tanks function properly.

Preventing Damage: Struvite is 1.7x heavier than water. Buildup in your tanks can create major problems due to that extra weight. As struvite crystals accumulate, they increase the tank's overall weight, leading to excessive stress on the tank walls, and its connecting hardware. This added strain can cause damage or leaks, reducing the tank's lifespan and potentially leading to costly repairs.
